Asia Smart Farming & Food Security 2023 Sets New Agricultural Paradigm

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 10 — Asia Smart Farming & Food Security 2023 (ASF’23) culminated with a remarkable Closing Ceremony, held during the Smart Farming Appreciation HighTea at Ballroom 2, MITEC, KL, on October 5, 2023.

a remarkable Closing Ceremony, held during the Smart Farming Appreciation HighTea at Ballroom 2, MITEC, KL, on October 5, 2023. The event, jointly organised by ABS Greentech Sdn Bhd and My Events International, garnered strong support from governmental bodies, industry leaders, and dedicated partners. It showcased a united commitment to transforming the future of agriculture through innovation and sustainability.

Yang Berbahagia Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, Organising Chairman of ASF’23, extended a warm welcome during the Closing Ceremony, stating, “ASF’23 has been a beacon of innovation, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs, and farmers to explore the boundless potential of smart farming. Our collective efforts have set the stage for a more sustainable and prosperous agricultural future.”

The event’s officiating address was delivered by Yang Berbahagia Datin Zaeidah Binti Mohamed Esa, Director of the Agriculture Division, Ministry of Economy, Malaysia. She remarked, “ASF’23 has been a testament to the dedication of our agricultural community. The insights shared and partnerships formed here will undoubtedly lead to innovative solutions that drive our agricultural sector forward.”
ASF’23 yielded impressive results, featuring 77 booths showcasing innovative solutions, hosting 32 international speakers who shared their expertise, engaging 200 delegates in meaningful discussions, and attracting over 1000 trade visitors.

The event also witnessed 11 memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremonies, underscoring the commitment of stakeholders to advancing agricultural practices. Reflecting on the event’s impact, Yang Berbahagia Datin Zaeidah Binti Mohamed Esa, Director of the Agriculture Division, Ministry of Economy, Malaysia, stated, “ASF’23 has reinvigorated our agricultural landscape. The collaborations formed here will
undoubtedly contribute to a more sustainable and innovative future for agriculture in Malaysia.

” ASF’23 received valuable endorsement of the Ministry of Plantation & Commodities and the support of the Ministry of Agriculture & Food Security.
